Aloo Rasedar (Vrat)

This recipe can be taken during your Vrat.
Ingredients:
  • Boiled and peeled potatoes - 4
  • Ghee - 2 tsp
  • Yogurt/Curd - 1/2 curd
  • Salt as required
  • Sambar/Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Finely chopped ginger - 1/2 tsp
  • Carom seeds - 1/2 tsp
Method:
  • Chop potatoes into small pieces.
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add ginger and carom seeds, then add sambar powder and salt, finally add potatoes, curd, and 1/2 cup of water.
  • Simmer the heat and cook it for 10 minutes, until the gravy thickens.
  • Serve this with poori.
