Vegetable Vadai

Ingredients:
  • Channa dal - 1/2 cup
  • Urud dal - 1/4 cup
  • Toor dal - 1/4 cup
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
  • Chopped onion(slit lengthwise) - 1/2 cup
  • Grated carrot - 1/2 cup
  • Grated cabbage - 1/2 cup
  • Salt as required
  • Oil for frying
Method:
  • Soak all dals together for 2 hours, grind coarsely (add water while grinding only if required).
  • Add chopped green chillies, coriander leaves, onion, carrot, cabbage, and salt. Mix everything nicely.
  • Heat oil, take small ball of vadai batter, flatten it on your palm and fry till it turns light brown. Cook vadai in medium flame.
  • Serve hot with hot tea or coffee.
