Eggless Date Cake
This is a very easy to make. If you are new to baking, you can start with this recipe.
Ingredients:
- Seedless Dates - 18 pieces
- All purpose flour/Maida - 1 cup
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Melted butter - 1/2 cup
- Baking soda - 1 tsp
- Milk - 3/4 cup
- Chopped nuts - 1 tsp
- Soak dates in milk for 1 hour. Grind it along with sugar into smooth paste. Now add butter to the mixture(you can even use refined oil), beat it nicely.
- Sieve flour and baking soda. Add flour little by little to the date mixture. Mix it nicely. Finally add nuts and mix everything.
- Preheat oven at 200°C, grease the baking pan and pour the mixture. Bake the cake for about 35 minutes. Insert a fork, if it come out clean, then your cake is ready.
