Naan without Yeast
Ingredient:
- Maida/All purpose flour - 2 cups
- Yogurt - 1/2 cup
- Warm milk - 1/2 cup
- Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar - 1/4 tsp
- Salt as required
- Butter - 1 tbsp
Method:
- Seive flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Take the seived flour in a large bowl and make a dent. Pour milk, yogurt. and sugar.
- Mix well , don't knead too hard, use your finger tips. Keep this aside for 3 hours. Knead and make balls larger than roti.
- Roll these balls into tear shape, dust flour while rolling. Cook this naan on tawa on one sides, flip and cook the other side on direct heat.
- Apply butter and serve hot with any gravy of your choice.
